The Electrical and Electronics Research Cluster is a dynamic team of researchers and experts within the School of Engineering at RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia. The cluster specializes in signal processing, artificial intelligence, power systems, renewable energy integration, materials science, and advanced wireless communication technologies. Bringing together multidisciplinary expertise, our team is dedicated to cutting-edge research in space technologies, power system stability, microgrid control, materials informatics, satellite communications, and IoT connectivity, with a strong emphasis on applied research, industry collaboration, and societal impact.

Our Research Focus Areas:
We conduct research across several key areas, including:

Space Technologies – Space situational awareness, space-based spectrum sensing, synthetic aperture radar (SAR), and space-based localization.
Power System Stability & Renewable Energy Integration – Addressing grid stability challenges, optimizing microgrid control strategies, and integrating renewable energy sources.
Machine Learning for Materials Science & Engineering – Advancing functional materials for clean energy, environmental sustainability, and next-generation manufacturing.
Wireless Communications & IoT Technologies – Improving IoT connectivity, RF signal processing, and satellite-based communications for future wireless networks.
